The bridesmaid was Catherine Grant Sunnybrae, and best man Peter Emslie of Cushnie

Anne wrote about the day:
The Rev Findley McDonald married me Anne Shand to Albert Brown of Kemnay on 6th June 1964 during the typhoid out break in Aberdeen he would not let someone of my guests into church. I only had 16 guests at my marriage and four had to stand outside it was a sad day for me.
