46 Grassick Decendants visit Glenbuchat

Grassick descendants from Vancouver visit Glenbuchat

In April 2018 Karen Inkster Vance and her partner Randy from Vancouver Canada visited Glenbuchat and Strathdon to find the roots of the Grassick Family of which Karen is a descendant.

They visited the Grave of Alexander Grassick who had been a farmer at Tulloch Strathdon and is buried in Glenbuchat Churchyard.

Also, in the churchyard at Glenbuchat is the grave of John Grassick who farmed at the Mains of Glenbuchat

They also visited the Mains of Glenbuchat and the farmhouse at Tulloch

Following the Strathdon visit they were travelling to Shetland as Karen’s name suggests, she has ancestors there also.
