My birthplace in 1948! Cottage to the left of the lodge. I was delivered by my father before Dr Reid had time to arrive from Bellabeg!
When Col.JB Milne died and part of the estate was sold, the lodge was converted into three flats and we moved into the west flat, Major Smilie from Castle Fraser in the middle flat and a housekeeper in the east one.
