Further down the slope you come to the Farm house itself. Most prominent is the gable end of the small extension behind the house.

Picture 2. Gabled extension off the back wall of the farm house.

Crossing the old track in front of the house the slope becomes steeper. There can be found the old well for the house still full of water.

Finally coming out of the forest you come to Kirkney water which in Alexander's day had a bridge and a ford.
